  • Pastor Bob Tome oversees the Wellness Ministry at Genesis Church. Our Wellness Ministry focuses on the whole person and depends on the word of God to provide spiritual answers to life’s problems. Please note the different areas we are equipped to assist you in on your journey.

    Pastor Bob has been in ministry for 38 years and developed the Wellness Ministry at Genesis Church 10 years ago. He is certified through the American Association of Christian Counselors at as a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor and a Certified Brain Health Professional through Amen Clinics. Pastor Bob holds many other certifications in areas of Rehab and Suicide Ideation.

  • New Beginnings 12-Step Recovery

    Monday Nights • 6:30pm-8:00pm

    New Beginnings is our 12-step recovery group. Join us for a light meal from 6:30-7:00pm, followed by a meeting from 7:00-8:00pm.

  • Mighty Oaks Support

    For Veterans & First Responders
    1st & 3rd Mondays • 6:30-8:30pm

    The Mighty Oaks Foundation is a faith-based Veteran service organization that teaches combat Veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress how to get beyond combat trauma and live their lives in the manner God intended.

  • Total Body Workout

    Tuesday & Thursday Evenings • 6:00pm

    This class consists of warm up, stability training, muscle conditioning intervals alternating with cardio activity intervals, mat work targeting core and final stretch. Modifications are offered for intensity levels. Participants should bring: 3-5 lb. hand weights, water bottle & mat.

  • Cancer Support

    Every Other Sunday Starting March 2, 2025 • 2:00-3:30pm

    Robin Luce, an 8 year breast cancer survivor, will be facilitating a cancer support group for individuals and caregivers at any point in their cancer journey. We will watch a video series called “Challenging Cancer” as well as sharing, talking, and supporting each other through this journey.

  • Caregiver Support

    Monday Afternoons Starting March 3, 2025 • 3:00-4:00pm

    Join us for a 10 week support group for caregivers as we share and walk through the book "Alzheimer’s Through the Stages: A Caregiver's Guide" by Mary Moller. Books can be purchased for $20 at the Info Booth and will be handed out on the first day of the group.

    Sundays After Church • 11:30am-1:00pm

    DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.
