First Time Visiting?
We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating, so this page is designed to help you make your visit as smooth and as comfortable as possible.
Genesis Church (formerly Grace Fellowship) is a multigenerational, non-denominational church in York, PA. Since our founding in 1990, our church has been all about loving God and loving people. We live this out through faithful biblical teaching, discipleship for all walks of life, and intentional community engagement.

What to Expect

SUNDAYS: Use either parking lot entrance and park in lots A-D. You will be greeted at the Student Center, Office Doors or Main Doors as you enter. All doors will be locked after 9:45am except the Main Doors.
THURSDAYS: Use the Office Entrance into the parking lot. Park in lots A or B and enter at the Student Center.

Look for our greeters with bright yellow name badges at the building entrances and the auditorium entrances. You can also stop by the Information Desk or the Welcome Area in the atrium. If it’s your first time, remember to stop by the Welcome Area for a special gift.

SUNDAYS: Our Sunday morning worship services begin at 9:30am in the auditorium. Worship consists of a full band playing modern worship songs mixed with traditional hymns. Sermons consist of biblical teaching based on series that are focused on a topic or a particular book in the Bible. Kids (Infants to 6th Grade) meet downstairs and Students (7th-12th Grade) meet in the Student Center.
THURSDAYS: Our Thursday night services begin at 7pm in the Student Center. Worship consists of an acoustic band playing modern worship songs mixed with traditional hymns. Sermons consist of biblical teaching based on series that are focused on a topic or a particular book in the Bible. Kids Ministry is available in Room 200.

Please feel free to dress casually or dress up if you prefer. We want you to feel comfortable.

Our cafe is open on Sunday mornings from 8:15am to 9:20am to purchase breakfast sandwiches and other drinks and snacks. There is free hot coffee, hot chocolate and water available in the atrium near the cafe.
On Thursday nights, a free meal is available before the service starting at 6:30pm in the Student Center.

Parking
If it’s your first time visiting with us, we have special guest reserved parking spaces! Just look for the signs in the parking lot.

We have an amazing team of volunteers that have been anticipating your arrival! Also, be sure to check out our Welcome Area before you leave. We have a special gift just for you!

Cafe
One of the first things that visitors notice when stepping into our building, is the smell coming from our cafe. We offer made-to-order breakfast sandwiches and locally in-house roasted specialty coffees. So be sure to come early and stop by our cafe before the service. Breakfast is served from 8:15am-9:20am.

Students
7th -8th grade students meet in the Student Center for community time, a focused game time, and a message. We use a mixture of topical and exegetical book studies to deepen students understanding of the Word of God.
