Upcoming Events
The Yard Sale is a great opportunity for our church body to connect with and serve our community. It also provides a place to find some useful items for a great price! All of the proceeds from the Yard Sale will be used to fund ministry activities at Genesis.
For the Yard Sale to be a success, the Yard Sale requires a lot of help from the church before, during, and after the event. We will be having an Informational Meeting after the service on January 12th for those who would like to learn more about taking on a leadership role, or those who have not gotten involved before and are interested in helping out or learning more.

Kitchen Assistant – cutting, bagging, doing dishes, taking things out to the table to sell
Home Decor Assistant – organizing the home decor section and measure linens that come in
Yard Sale Coordinator Trainee – train to coordinate aspects of the Yard Sale
Jewelry – identify, display, and price jewelry
Security – maintain order and monitor areas to prevent theft
Media Support – photos and videos taken during the event to be posted throughout the week and to put together for a recap and to be used for the next year
Electronics Assistant – test electronics that come in to see if they work
