The Outreach ministry is the Kingdom extension outside of the walls of Genesis Church. We believe that Jesus calls us to go from here to there as the Spirit leads. By partnering with local organizations, we are able to use our individual spiritual gifts to impact and bless people in the community in practical ways.

Halloween Outreach

The Halloween Outreach provides us a way to further the reach of the gospel in the communities surrounding Genesis Church. During this outreach, partners and life groups have the opportunity to host a site. Host Sites invite their neighbors to stop by on Trick-or-Treat night for games, food, & connection. This is a great opportunity to share the gospel and information about Genesis Church. Training and guidance will be provided.

Thanksgiving Outreach

At the Thanksgiving Outreach, we help meet the needs of the community and foster relationships. We go to New Salem Elementary for a night of crafts, food, games, and give complete Thanksgiving meals to families.

Fill-a-Bag with these items:
Canned Corn: 30-40oz
Canned Green Beans: 30-40oz
Jarred Gravy: 18oz
Canned Yams: 30-40oz
Boxed Mashed Potatoes: 8oz family sized
Boxed Stuffing: 6oz
Donate $20 for a turkey
Stop by the info booth to pick up a bag to fill or to make your turkey donation. Deadline is 11/8.

Taking it to the Streets is a small piece of our outreach, local missions. Help us take God’s love and truth to the streets of York City this Spring and Summer. With our church partner (Recovery House of Worship), we will build relationships, share the gospel, offer prayer, and distribute food, clothing & school supplies.

If you are Spanish speaking, that is a plus to better communicate with our Spanish speaking population. Thank you in advance for your support and participation.
We don’t have to go overseas and get passports to be used by God, we can be used right here in our local community.

Pastor Reggie serves as a Missionary for Missions Door International Ministries, Genesis Church City Outreach and the Pastor of Recovery House of Worship in York, PA.
His Church focuses on 4 specific groups of people:
People in Recovery.
Those who are still struggling with an Active Addiction.
Family members of those struggling with addiction.
Friends of those struggling with addiction.
Pastor Reggie is married to Minister Yolanda Hunter and they are the parents of six sons and the grandparents to five children. Together they serve preaching and teaching the healing power of Jesus Christ.

Katallaso in Greek means reconciliation. At Katallasso Family Health Center (FHC), reconciliation is at the core of what they aspire to do. By building trust through aggressively sought out relationships, they work to help people reconcile with God, family, Church and neighborhood, using a biblical model. They believe that these four relationships, fully functioning together, allow people to live a fulfilled life and stretch a person beyond one's current capabilities. This is done through the vehicle of healthcare and wellness programs.
