  • Katallaso in Greek means reconciliation. At Katallasso Family Health Center (FHC), reconciliation is at the core of what they aspire to do. By building trust through aggressively sought out relationships, they work to help people reconcile with God, family, Church and neighborhood, using a biblical model. They believe that these four relationships, fully functioning together, allow people to live a fulfilled life and stretch a person beyond one's current capabilities. This is done through the vehicle of healthcare and wellness programs.

Genesis Church is in Partnership with Katallasso Family Health Center in collecting Bags of Hope.

Participating is as simple as 1-2-3

1. Pick up your empty Bag in the multi-purpose room on Sunday after the service, or in the office during the week.
Office hours are Monday -Thursday 8AM - 3PM and on Friday 8AM - Noon. The cost is $3 per bag.

2. Items Needed: Peanut Butter, Canned Chicken, Canned Tuna, Oatmeal, Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Cereal, Instant Potatoes, Sugar Free pudding/jello and Beans (any type)

Please select 6 of these items from the list to fill the bag.

3. In the bag is a card to write a note of encouragement for the recipient of the bag! Please pray over your bag and return it to the Katallsso table in the multi-purpose room on Sunday, or at the church office Monday through Thursday 8am - 3pm.

 

For those that are not able to make it to the campus, you may also participate from a distance! 

The cost of participating from a distance is $12 per bag. This price includes the cost of groceries needed to fill a bag.

Once the bags are collected, they will be taken to Katallasso Family Health Clinic and distributed. Thank you for showing kindness to others, by sharing a message of hope.

Pastor Reginald Hunter

Pastor Reggie serves as a Missionary for Missions Door International Ministries, Genesis Church City Outreach and the Pastor of Recovery House of Worship in York, PA.

His Church focuses on 4 specific groups of people:

  1. People in Recovery.

  2. Those who are still struggling with an Active Addiction.

  3. Family members of those struggling with addiction.

  4. Friends of those struggling with addiction.

Pastor Hunter is married to Minister Yolanda Hunter and they are the parents of six sons and the grandparents to five children. Together they serve preaching and teaching the healing power of Jesus Christ.
