Becoming Unoffendable - Rosemary Jones

We’ve all experienced an offense that ruined our day, our week, or even longer. But it isn’t possible to be unoffendable, is it? Isn’t taking offense unavoidable? And what about righteous anger? Aren’t we supposed to be offended by some things? Come hear the life-giving truths of Scripture that teach us the glory and freedom to be found in overlooking an offense.

Bring Them Up - Jenn Farris

The Bible is the ultimate resource and authority for parenting.  Within its chapters you will find God's wisdom on teaching, training, and disciplining for raising godly, independent children.  Along with this wisdom, you will discover His hope and encouragement to stay the course in the toughest job you'll ever love.  Join us as we look to scripture to bring them up God's way.

Building a Wall Against Unhealthy Comparisons - Janine Giambalvo

At a young age, we are introduced to the concept of how to compare all sorts of things . . . shapes, sizes, colors, qualities, etc. As we grow, we begin comparing other things, including ourselves. Who is smarter? Prettier? Uglier? More spiritual? Soon we start internalizing comparisons we or others make about us, whether or not it is based in reality. Media and advertising emphasize our physical appearance, and we can unfairly compare ourselves to Photoshopped, artificial images. In this session, we will learn how to build a barrier that will keep us from looking horizontally at people and at the same time focus our gaze vertically to the One who created us and sees us as we truly are.

Come As You Are - Lindsay Madrigal

We all spend time, hear from, and flourish in the Lord in different ways. He desires for you to be with Him, to come alive in Him, and to thrive through Him, as He made you to be and do. In this session learn how to come as you are in your God-given identity and wiring to experience a life worth living.

A Faithful Generation - Heather Cusumano

As believers and parents, we have a responsibility to train up the next generation in such a way that when they are old, the teachings of God’s Word will not leave them. But how do we do that? What does that practically look like? What if I don’t have young people in my house? Whether you live with or mentor young people, in this session we will take a deeper look into how and what it means to walk with the next generation that they may be found faithful.

Jesus’ Blueprint for Prayer - Connie Hartman

The Lord’s Prayer, one of the most familiar of all prayers, has been much repeated but little understood. In that prayer, Jesus gave us a blueprint for how to pray that is just a relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. God wants us for Himself. He desires communion with us. He wants us to know Him. Prayer is His method to accomplish that. Prayer - real prayer - is tough hard business. Learn how to pray to God on His terms.

Rest - Lindsay Madrigal

Carrying weights that were never yours to carry, wrestling over tensions and worries that you don’t hold the power to solve, and living life with no boundaries lead to everything BUT rest. Jesus invites and encourages us to enter His rest. In this session learn how to live out of peace-filled rest that surpasses the uncertainties and chaos of this life.

Seasons of Life - Janine Giambalvo

Seasons come and seasons go, at the speed of light, it seems! Life changes and that is something we can count on . . . marriage, children, parenting, growing pains for everyone in the family, aging parents, illnesses, death. One thing we can depend on is that God never changes, and His love will carry us through the joyous and difficult seasons of life and the relationships affected by those seasons. Join us as we draw near to our Creator to see how He fits into every chapter of our lives.

So I’m a Mom. Now What? - Cindy Foor

You prepared for the baby’s arrival, but were you really ready to be a mom? Whether you’re the mother of infants, toddlers, tweens or teens, it’s not always as easy as you thought it would be. In this session we will discuss God’s perspective and basic Biblical principles about being a parent. Discovering God’s viewpoint will help you understand your role and purpose as “mother.”

The Secret of Contentment - Jenn Farris

Discontentment flares when either our wants aren't met or our expectations of what life should be like don’t measure up.  We feel frustration, anger, and anxiety.  These things take our focus from God and keep us from drawing near to Him.  Through scripture, this class will help us see the secret of being content in any and every situation.

Wisdom from the Book of James - Connie Hartman

Most believers find the pursuit of holiness difficult. The Book of James takes us inside man. We will work through five themes found in James: You can be a Complete Christian, Facing Trials With Joy, Conquering Doubt, Praying Effectively, and Remaining Faithful. These themes help the believer become a teleios (complete, entire) person, to overcome whatever it is that stands in the way.

Witnessing at Work - Cindy Foor

We are all called to be ambassadors for Christ, but there is much confusion about what we can legally say or not say to others about Christ, especially in the workplace. In this breakout, we will explore God’s Word to ensure understanding of the calling and compare that to current employment and freedom-of-speech laws. We do not have to be fearful of sharing the Good News of Jesus!

Youth + Cultural Lies - Heather Cusumano

In a culture plagued by confusion and relativity, the youth of today are searching for clarity and truth. And whoever wants these young people more, will get them. Politics wants them. The education system wants them. Social media and pornography want them. But what would happen if the Church wanted them more? In this session we’ll refute a few of the top cultural lies infiltrating the youth of today with the unifying Truth of Scripture.
